Information about how the new law affects bookings of more than 6 people.

Updated: 26/11/20 13.30

The park is currently closed until at least the 16th December 2020.

This advice only applies if the park is open and if we revert back to being in the Tier 2: High Alert level area.

If Landal Sandybrook (DE6 2AQ) is placed in Tier 2: High Alert Level all guests from a Tier 1: Medium Alert Level or Tier 2: High Alert Level postcode must adhere to the Tier 2: High Alert Level Rules when staying with us.

Guests from a Tier 3: Very High Level area are advised to avoid travelling to other parts of the UK and not to travel on holiday.

If you are from or are staying in a Tier 2: High Alert Level Area you must not:

  • socialise with anyone you do not live with or who is not in your support bubble in any indoor setting, whether at home or in a public place.
  • socialise in a group of more than 6 people outside, including in a garden or a public space – this is called the ‘rule of 6’

This means that you can only come on holiday and share a lodge with members of your household or legal support bubble.

Pinelodge Holiday Ltd takes the Health and Safety of our guests and staff extremely seriously and these rules will impact on some of our guests. Please be assured that our ‘Book with Confidence’ promise ensures that any guests affected will be able to amend their booking to a future date, receive a credit note or cancel and receive a full refund. Please refer to our T&Cs for details.

1. Who can still come on holiday?

  • People who live in a Tier 1: Medium Alert Level or Tier 2: High Alert Level Area and only want to travel and share a lodge with people from their household or legal support bubble.

2. Who can no longer come on holiday?

  • People who live in a Tier 1: Medium Alert Level or Tier 2: High Alert Level Area and want to travel and share a lodge with people from outside of their household or support bubble.
  • People who live in a Tier 3: Very High Alert Level area or are under Home Nation Travel Restrictions. These people are advised by the Government to avoid travelling to other parts of the UK on holiday.

3. We are a group of friends or families that have multiple lodges booked. Can we still come on holiday?

  • If all of the lodges are only occupied by a single household or support bubble and you live in a Tier 1: Medium Alert Level or Tier 2: High Alert Level Area then you can still come on holiday.
  • Please be aware that you are not allowed to meet inside your lodge or another facility building (e.g. the restaurant) with anyone that is not in your household or support bubble.
  • Please be aware that you will not be allowed to meet outside in groups of more than 6 at any point during your holiday.
  • If the ability to not socialise or meet as a larger group means that you no longer wish to come on holiday we will allow you to amend your booking to a future date, receive a credit note or cancel and receive a full refund. Please refer to our T&Cs for details.

4. How do the new rules affect other aspects of my holiday?

  • Some activities are restricted to one household or social bubble and all activities abide by the Rule of 6.
  • You will only be allowed to book a table at our Restaurant and cafe for one household or social bubble. You will not be allowed to swap tables once seated and you must stay at least 2 metres apart from the other tables.

5. How do I cancel or amend my holiday?

  • Please refer to the details here.
