Important information about your holiday

Dear Guest

We want to ensure that you have a great holiday and make the most of your time in the Derbyshire Peak District.  To ensure this happens, we would like to provide you with some information to help you plan your holiday and let you know what to expect when you arrive.

What to expect at Landal Sandybrook

We are a family business that aims to ‘delight every guest so they wish to return’ and we therefore want to provide you with a clear picture of what you can expect when you arrive on holiday in order to give you the best opportunity to plan and have a great stay with us.

Covid may still impact our business.
Please be assured that we will do everything within our control to keep our facilities operating but the opening hours and what we can provide may be required to change at very short notice. We will contact guests as soon as possible if such situations arise but please be aware that sometimes things can change whilst you are on holiday. We will continue to update the website as frequently as possible and the latest information about what facilities and activities are available can be found here.

Booking in Advance

To ensure that you make the most of your holiday we would urge you to plan and book in advance.

You can pre-book Go Active sessions such as Archery, Crossbow etc up to 6 weeks in advance. You can book activities here.

Eating Out

There is no onsite restaurant but due to our location we are very fortunate that there are lots of places to eat in the local area. We are 1 mile from the market town of Ashbourne and there are also numerous country pubs within a 5 mile radius. Many local eateries also offer a takeaway service, some of which deliver to the park.

You can find a list of places to eat in the local area here.

Day’s Out

There is a vast array of local attractions in the Derbyshire Peak District but most require you to pre-book. Some of the more popular attractions may be fully booked if you do not book in advance.  Further information about places to visit and days out can be found here

If you plan to go walking or cycling in the local area, it is important to plan your route, park responsibly and follow the Countryside Code. Details of walks and cycling routes both onsite and in the local area can be found here.
